i'm bored, so i decided to go ahead and post some of my recent purchases. there is more stuff but it's in the laundry basket or hidden in the depths of my closet.

i'm two years away from 30 today. that's doesn't seem right.

thursday night's baking advernture, chocolate chip-less chocolate chip cookies. they weren't meant to be chip-less, but after mixing the ingredients we realized we had no chips and it was too late to turn back. so these are basically brown sugar cookies. they were still tasty. front ones are sprinkled with 100s & 1000s, the back with choco hail.



my new york style cheesecake. i was very proud of this as i have never made it before. it is very dense, and very very rich...but it tastes so good. the center is still creamy. it's heaven.

on the look out for new things to bake, thinking of a tarte tatin or some sort of crostata. still want to make macarons but i think the weather isn't right for it. any suggestions?

i have found the perfect black leather jacket on ebay...but of course no one wants to ship anything to the asshole end of the world. this is just another thing i can put on my ever growing list of why i fucking hate living in new zealand.

after about 2 years of searching for a cheap, cute pair of motorcycle boots i have finally found some. while this may not seem like a hard thing to find, it is. especially when you can wear shoes in sizes 7, 8, & 9...which i do. and it is extremely hard to find any for cheap in new zealand...the overpriced every thing capital of the world. but today i came away with a pair for $25NZD, which is roughly $13USD...well chuffed with that. also got a cute pair of black (finally! these are rare in nz) satin flats...they do have this ugly fringe poof thing on them, but i can deal as they are extremely comfortable. the ones i bought the other day, however, are not and now i have two bandaged toes, one of each foot.

also saw my dream leather jacket in the window of farmer's, but i'm pretty sure that the price would be outrageous. may have to stop in there next week and check it out. chances are it's over $100, and i will not pay that for one item, no matter if it is orgasmic.
